Did you know ?
Cold plunge therapy is rooted in ancient traditions. It was advocated by Hippocrates, the “Father of Medicine,” to alleviate fatigue and improve health.
How does it work?
When you immerse yourself in cold water, your body reacts by constricting blood vessels and directing blood flow to vital organs to maintain core temperature. This process accelerates metabolism and boosts the immune system by increasing white blood cells. It also promotes regeneration by reducing inflammation and muscle pain.
Using a specialized breathing technique during the cold plunge enhances these benefits. Deep, rhythmic breathing oxygenates the body, helping you maintain focus and control over your response to the cold. It strengthens willpower, improves mood, and reduces stress through raised endorphin levels.
How is it applied?
- Prepare for the Cold Plunge with a 15-minute breathing exercise. This exercise is a crucial step in your preparation.
- If alone, request headphones and a voice recording from your practitioner.
- Practice breathing in the yoga area, meditation room, or outdoor space. During the exercise, lie down or sit with your back supported.
- The practitioner will help you choose the right plunge. Beginners should start at 14°C, while the other option is set at 8°C.
- Numbness, dizziness, and tingling in your lips, hands, and feet are normal signs of correct breathing.
How long does a session last?
Each session, including preparation, shower, breathing exercises, and the cold therapy itself, lasts approximately 30 minutes.

We do not recommend cold plunges for individuals with the following conditions.
- Cardiovascular diseases

Caution
